Compensation in the form of a Carbon Fiber Wing maybe?Hey guys, my FL5 problem never ends and I need your opinion/suggestion about this matter.
LONG STORY (please bare with me):
As mentioned weeks ago, the dealership offered to handle the delivery of my car to my address which they said will be here 2 weeks max (considering its a 7-9hrs drive and same province) and I agreed as it was a long holiday and didn’t want to be a hassle for me.
2 weeks has passed and they weren’t able to deliver. Lots of calls and talks has been made, in the end they said that 100% it will be picked up yesterday or today. Unfortunately, it’s already 1300H and I haven’t had any response/update from them yet.
As I was not expecting the car to be this late, I sold our spare car last week which caused me to commute for work.
but with the strike ongoing, my problems got worst. My question is, am I entitled to ask for a compensation for this hassle or am I too di** for that?

All seriousness, they did offer to ship the car to you which is great but going on 3 weeks now, is a lot especially considering that it's only 7-9 hours away. Personally, I would say fuck it and go get the car. Either drive it back yourself or look for a company that would do it for you. Go get your car and bring a buddy for support. Make a road trip out of it!
Haha I wish I could. But like a rental car for the meantime because I paid the shipping already to them.Compensation in the form of a Carbon Fiber Wing maybe?
Did you call Chris?Haha I wish I could. But like a rental car for the meantime because I paid the shipping already to them.
problem is, the shipping is been paid for already + if I’m going there I need to spend 400-500 extra for a plane ticket. Tried to look for diff truck already and they said atleast 10 days for them to pick up the car.
I sent inquiry already days ago and still waiting for their response.Did you call Chris?
Oh man, call them.I sent inquiry already days ago and still waiting for their response.
Is it this Thorsons you are talking about? Do you have their phone no. as it is not posted on their site?Oh man, call them.
I purchased my car in Kelowna 2 years ago and it was exactly like your case. At the end, there’s nth they can do, 1: due to no truck going to their area to pick up my car. 2: weather - recently, snowing pretty hard in the lower mainland and it’s harder in the interior of bc. For my case, my car was delayed for 2 months. It was suppose to deliver before Christmas time and I received my car in early Feb.Hey guys, my FL5 problem never ends and I need your opinion/suggestion about this matter.
