multiple dealers in greater vancouver areas are already not even accepting delivery and they have to wait and see? lmao
at least this will be more available. I hope everyone that wants one can get it.

On a local board here in Montreal, someone mentioned their dealer telling them June delivery for their Type R. When I found out I contacted my dealer (with difficulty) because I’m next, and they were supposed to contact Honda Canada. But that was some 2 weeks ago already, seems they can’t be bothered…

Just got back from a visit to my Honda dealer in Winnipeg where I"m 4th on the list. Apparently 3 CW are inbound from Vancouver already. Unfortunately, that,s their 2023 allotment and I'm 4th. Wonder if any changes will be made for 2024 that might make the wait a little less painful (Like the ITS exhaust...)

Just a quick disclaimer on that number (and to be fair the number that was rumoured for the FL5 as well) is that it isn't confirmed by Honda/Acura. So definitely take it with a grain of salt.

that's great to hear. I guess the next batch finally arrived. I rmember seeing a photo of the dock in Japan a few weeks ago with a ton of LHD CTRs. Hopefully I will hear some news soon as well in vancouver area.

have you gotten any update from them yet? I'd imagine the cars are on the truck already and must be getting close to winnipeg.

EDIT: And apparently all 3 are white. Of all teh 9 they're supposed to get , 8 people ordered white and one red. I"m hoping some other colour shows up and one of the 3 people ahead of me, says they'll wait for a white one...

Reached out to a local (langley) Acura dealer about ITS and they said i can't put a deposit but it will be an order since it will be an allocation and while the guy on the phone said he couldn't tell if I would get the car this year, it would still be 2024 MY.

I think a few people backed out after the pricing announcement.

Wouldn't trust anything a dealer says on timing etc. Not after my experience with trying to buy a FL5. 3 dealers I had deposits with thought they would be getting 5-7 allocations each year for the FL5.

Best bet is to get actual facts, what # are u, how many do they know they are getting first round and make your judgement call then.

2024 MY goes all the way into this current time frame in 2025. Aka they as assuming it will be up to 1 year wait for u at max (based on their internal assumptions).
