I thought 2025 would be the year they would have mild refreshes?
We're assuming there will be changes like in previous gens, but nothings confirmed. Neither the Si or Type R were mentioned at the "secret" dealer meeting in Vegas a few months back for MY25 cars. I'm thinking the Type R will remain the same or at least I hope. I personally am not a fan of them trying to apply the Accord look onto the Civic.

Called them this morning. They knew what I was calling about before I even asked them. They were closed for the past 3 days and probably had many emails and phone calls.
Yeah, there was a holiday in Quebec, they probably got slammed with email and calls about the car.

Also, that cyber security attack on CDK in the States seems to have affected some of the dealerships up here. Both dealerships I have deposits at weren't able to process refunds because their system was down since Tuesday last week. Hopefully they get their systems back on again soon.

Haha, so am I man. I haven’t got the call yet to pick up. Was expecting to head over there yesterday, but they’re waiting for stuff to clear on their end. I suspect that it might have something to do with CDK cyber attack, but don’t want to ask. I know the dealerships I had deposits with were hit, so I’m having to wait till next week to get the money back.

I got the call today, and signed the quote for a CW delivering at the end of July.
The timing is eerie, as the GM at Acura called me last week telling me that he allocated me a black ITS that's expected this week/next. Black was not in my top choices, and now will be declining that allocation. A few more days, and it could have been a very expensive week for me

Congrats!

Did they confirm it’s a MY25 and if there was any differences to be aware of?

Got a call today - feels like a dream come true but currently not in the country and asked if they could wait until next week. Seems like they don't want to wait so will see how it goes. Would suck if I lose it because I'm out of town. Fingers crossed!

Deal sheet says 2024.
I had a choice of SGP and CW.
There are some mandatory things, protection package, front ppf, mats/trunk tray, tire/rim warranty.

Seriously fuck these stealers. Mandatory lol. Move on.

Sucks, hopefully it's not too much. If it were any other car, that had more allocation than we're getting here, I'd tell the dealership to kick rocks but, you gotta pull the trigger, otherwise you'll miss your chance.
