That's in Canada, not down here in the States.

It's unfortunate that they're now only equipping the turbo engine on the premium Touring model and taking it away from the EX trim. And I never understood why they would under-power a model they call "Sport". When it seems like their competition is bumping up engine specs across the board, Honda is going backwards.

You're in Texas? Our EX (the U.S. model) still has the 1.5t.

Canadian market cars across all brands are fitted out differently and the same goes for all country markets. Honda even has 360 degree cameras on cars in some Asian markets.

Typically car manufacturers have a subsidiary group in each market who does the sales analysis work to determine what to put on a car to compete in a market and the associated MSRP. Putting extra equipment just hurts profits ;)

On a different note having seen the video that shows the engine compartment a bit more, I am sad the age-old shitty radiator reservoir is back, complete with plastic cap that goes bad and lets your coolant evaporate. The 10th gen was much smarter, though the plastic reservoir no doubt cost Honda more money because it had to withstand more pressure.

Also holy crap, Honda Canada just put up a major dick move in there. They moved the HondaLink emergency call, which is when it calls 911 via your connected bluetooth cellphone in event of airbag deployment to a Touring only feature. What the flying fuck of a insult of a safety feature that is nothing but software and literally costs them nothing.
