Civic Si discontinued?

Checking the Honda website, they've taken down 2022 Si, and when looking at 2023 it shows "Sport" but does not show Si?

Any insights or thoughts?

Are our cars suddenly a lot more valuable?

They won't announce 23 Si just yet. Especially since they just announced the type r. Maybe toward oct or nov if anything.

Marketing. Why buy 2022 if they announce 2023.

2023 Available in all the same colors as the 2022.

Only difference will be it’s not available with HPT or “Summer Tires”

Dealers haven’t ordered any 2023 Civic yet. Expecting they will get ordered this month.

You won't see new model year on the website until it is shipping or close to. Unless it was a special model or redesign.

I just put a deposit down on a 2023 Si in Ontario. They are not being discontinued but nothing solid yet about pricing. They anticipate we will have information soon and are keeping me posted

Dealers will be able to order '23 Honda Civics this month. No-one knows if the Si will be included in the that. No one knows price.

'23 SI will be there.

Is it still ICE? The Canadian site shows both a turbo and NASP engine civic, so I'm guessing yes.

this may be the last generation but no one really seems to know, not even the dealers. When they cancelled the Subaru STi the dealers were the last ones to know. Companies are reacting to many variables in the market these days from sky high fuel costs, inflation, parts shortages, supply chain garbage, so they make rash decisions on short notice to best achieve their short term needs.
