Given that 100+ cars recently showed "in transit" over the last 24 hours,
I wanted to share more broadly a new personal site to help the community track dealer markups.

Thanks! I'm hoping sharing this information transparently will:
* Put some downward pressure on dealers to lower prices if we can point to other dealers with lower markups
* Highlight vehicles that are just sitting
* Potentially highlight dealers with unscrupulous markups
* Watch how the type-r market is unfolding across the country over time

Awesome man. Good luck on your search. I’m positive that luck rewards the patient and persistent. Just need one dealer to try to make their monthly numbers and be more flexible for you to get a CTR

Yeah I only inquire within a state over. A lot of dealers do not want the hassle of more paperwork, since every state has different paperwork.

This is a great service to the enthusiast community.
I am fine with people - dealers or individuals - making a profit - not so fine if it results in separating would-be Type R owners from driving the dream.

I am in San Francisco Bay Area. The average of the ones I inquired in my state turned out to be about 21K. They are all sold except the Championship White I submitted. Would not be surprised the other black FL5 left in the state is asking for 30K over (I called a different location of the same dealer group).
