Do you think US dealers will install the mirrors or are you planning to DIY? Do you think it’ll be hard to do?
Most dealerships will not do the install, even if you bring all the necessary OEM parts all ready to go. Luckily my dealership has a bunch of enthusiasts working in the service dept. They've done the power-folding mirror conversion on quite a few FK8s including a LE.

I'm actually shocked this car wont be coming with those stock, but I will skip the folding mirrors here in Canada. Sometimes when your car is covered in ice and snow, you don't really want your mirrors to fold in or out on their own.

But that could be a pretty fun project to do on your own or a buddy.

Is it hard to order stuff like that from JDM dealers? Never done it but definitely interested in a few JDM OEM parts like the mirrors.
Not really hard, just more so time-consuming. Gonna have to do some translations and maybe acquire a VIN or 2. It's alot easier if you have a VIN and someone in that country that can buy them for you. I'm actually trying to source an OEM Mugen Front Grill Garnish, Rear Under-spoiler and Tailgate Spoiler from the Mugen Special Edition H/back only found in New Zealand.

Blame the size of North American parkings spots and garage spaces as the reasoning behind us not getting it stock on the USDM model. Europe and Japan have relatively small spaces in comparison to America.

Probably going to get a spare mounted in the trunk. Might not be day 1, but I've blown a tire in the FK8 a few times. Definitely hate the useless emergency kit. I do enough driving that I don't feel safe without a full spare.
Saw some mods on the previous gen that let you have a flat trunk and I'm hoping that the same mods will work.

I'm really interested in the mods from the last gen (everything I've looked at requires a purchase of the standard hatchback spare kit, new trunk floor, etc.). Do you have a link?

Thanks!

Wow you got some big plans, would like to see pics when it's done in the future. Mine will remain pretty stock looking.

After doing some research on undercoating, I decided to stay away from any rubberized coatings, which apparently can end up worse in the long run if applied improperly. So no dealership undercoating, I'll just stick to yearly coating with Krown, which is petroleum based.

LOL, it's true though, I did a very similar thing as soon as I got my GR Supra 😆, so those are my first initial mods.

- Audio (Sub + Amp, Front Speakers)
- Weather mats
- PPF + Tint
- Winter Tires/Rims (18x8 wrapped in 235/40 AP4)
- Spare Kit

Ive got a friend who owns a wrap shop; I'm seriously considering getting a wrap before PPF. CW is a good colour but I had my heart set on BB.

Do we know if the firmware for this version has been jail broken by Hondata or K-Tuner? I can only assume there is a difference in this generation and the Bosch computer will be different than the rest of 11th gen. It might take a while for us to get that if there's a new version. I've got a ktuner from 10th gen but I'd rather get the HonData. Might sell it with the old car.

Kinda sucks that the rear speakers are 3.25" now; my old speakers wont fit :'(

All seasons from tuxmat
Bernie Sanders doll in the back seat

Forged Wheels (Likely the Honda ones)
Alcantara back seat
Heated seats perhaps (if it isn't too much trouble)

Keep an eye on intakes as the aftermarket rolls them out.
Starting to shop around before mine gets to the dealership, I'm currently looking at Tuxmat and it says it fits both Sedan and Hatchback models.

Should I go ahead and order it? Maybe check in with them to see if this applies to the Type Rs?

Happy concerns XD
