Today, I called my dealer and priced a set of four DWS Conti 06 tires..mounted, balanced and alignment..The tires came back $33 cheaper than Tire rack sells them for..Mount and balance.$141.00..alignment 4 wheels, $90.00..For my money, that is a lot of my money , Well Spent..two year full replacement on the tires..Have you guys done better at your dealer??..I am pleased and a bit surprised with the pricing at this dealer..I will need brake pads soon..I am betting that they will do that job too. They said the tires will be in by Friday..appt. next wek for the work to be done..Splendid !

$1500...4 new Conti DWS 06+ tires, mounted, balanced and a 4 wheel alignment. The dealer said the alignment guarantees the 3 year service warrenty on the tires in case medeatiopn occurs..and they would rather I get the best from the work done. I agree with them. The alignment sheet I get will have the numbers I drove in with and then the factory numbers..That will be a good sheet of information going forward. My roads here in WV are rough..I live at the end of a 3 mile dirt/gravel path. The paved roads are worse in places.

I wouldn't buy the PS4 Michelin tyres with anyone's money..Firstly, where I live, wintertime temps can drop below 0 degrees F..Secondly, the original set of OEM Michelin PS 4 tyres wereworn out in 5000 miles. The Conti DWS 06+ is my best option, as they lasted three times longer than the Michelin summer only tyres. My advice is "Do what you will, hurt no one." To each, their own.

I got DWS06+ in 255 35 for $1000 mounted and balanced from my local tire shop in December. Granted, I did bring him the wheels already off the car. He guaranteed no marks and delivered.

That's fine, you can expect people will recommend ps4s until you mention cold weather.

If you only got 5000mi, maybe you have some track time or autox on those, but if you're just commuting and scooting around town, you should get your alignment checked. Especially if you're going to dws for daily, you should expect at least 15-25k, more if you have a lot of highway commute miles.

Tires are perfectly even all across the tread(or lack of it)..I am having my new DWS06+ installed this Friday..The Honda dealer does a four wheel alignment as part of the mount and balance..After the alignment, I will have the numbers I am running now and the numbers the Dealer put on them..I will upload that sheet to this thread..I am very interested in those current numbers because the wear is perfectly even and the car handles like it is on rails and rotates around the many tight two lane turns I experience here in WV, better than my BMW 325ix, on a daily basis. The tires are rotated every 5000 miles..The dealer told me that 5000 miles on the ps4 here, in my area is normal with a well driven FL5.
