This morning as I was backing my car out of the garage a CEL popped up. Usually “emission’s system problem, power may be reduced” I hooked up my Flashpro and went onto “trouble codes” I had a P2183 code… what could this be for? I have yet to clear to code or drive the car. Start up seemed normal and idle was normal.

Was a flex fuel kit installed on your car? If so, you are getting this error because the kit is not compatible. According to Hondata, they will not support ECT2 based flex fuel systems because they are not emissions compliant.

I believe he is running a PRL unit for the flex fuel.

Yep, that'll do it. I have a PRL unit "installed" on my car but did not connect the ECT2 plug due to no support. I use the wi-fi feature to monitor ethanol content but it does not communicate with my ECU.

Yeah then that is a good workaround.
