If you are using the recirc valve version then you should be all good.

I changed out the coupler and I’m running the recirculating kit. I ran it without and got a CEL on my first drive

interesting, I have not gotten a check engine light venting to atmosphere and have driven it over 100miles like that.

Correction on my previous post! The coupler you need is the stock FK8 or a aftermarket if you want stronger 2.75” to 2.5” coupler.

It was an installation error on my part. Are you still running without the recirculating kit? I'm tempted to do this to hear the sound difference.

What coupler did you use? I installed this on my FL5 with recirculating kit Monday. Used the stock coupler and just clamped it down. Seemed like it was on pretty good but might change it out.

So used a 2.75”- 2.5” reducer straight coupler. Stock one will pop off and leave you in limp mode.

2.75” to the throttle body and 2.5” to the pipe.

Thanks bro! I’ll order that tonight and swap it out this weekend!
