Thanks for posting this. The Boost Logic exhaust sounds terrible on the FK8 so I didn't expect anything different for the FL5
terrible btw. It's a shame there are a bounty of exhaust options for the FL5 and nearly all of them are no good.

Don't blame the exhaust manufacturers. Blame honda for the crap small displacement D.I motors

Anyone have the new HKS Hi-Power? I think I'm between the HKS Legamax, Hi-Power, and Kakimoto KR. I'm looking for more of a refined, deep tone with no drone and mild volume (louder than stock, but not too loud or obnoxious).

Most exhausts I've heard sound like they're between a Dyson vacuum and a wet fart. Disappointing considering how good the car looks and performs.

I have an HKS hi-power exhaust on order. I’ll update you when i get it

supposed to come in late March but got moved to June. HKS had issues in production and HKS USA hasn’t received the shipment yet.

are you putting it on with a stock downpipe? curious to know if there is any drone at cruising speeds once you have in installed

That would be awesome, thanks! Exhausts for the FL5 aren't cheap, so it's a big help to get real-world feedback before pulling the trigger. Coming from a VB WRX, it's definitely a shift (parts for the FL5 are pricier and there just aren’t as many video reviews out there yet).

I've been tied up with other stuff recently, but I'm hoping to start making more YouTube content on the Type R soon. We need more informative videos for this platform like the Subaru community has.

no i feel you. i came from a VA STI. parts are literally twice the price
