I fit it in the Si with the trunk open and a lot of towels to keep it from scratching shit up. Probably a good idea to bring a bungee chord to hold your trunk down.

I transported the OEM exhaust in my Odyssey. It fit perfectly - sans the front pipe which thankfully is the only piece that can be disconnected separately.

Did my install at work(an airport) and stored the oem exhaust in a storage/maintenance hangar.

Haha this is the biggest reason I don't want to get an aftermarket exhaust. I like to retain all my factory parts but storing this thing looks annoying.

After installing my Apexi exhaust, I took the stock one back home in the Type R.

Put the backseats down and lay the passenger seat a bit down. Place the muffler end in the trunk on the driver side and then the other end will fit straight through towards the passenger side window. It will stick out the window a bit but barely past the side mirror. Very smooth process. Just make sure you have 2 or 3 towels to protect the seat and you’ll be fine.

I should have taken photos for you all. Apologies.
