Front lip/splitter recommendations to cover/protect

Forgive the dirt. Unfortunately I hit a random piece of scrap metal that was sliding across the freeway. Damage is minimal considering the types of debris I routinely see on our Southern California roads.

Of the front lip options available for the FL5, do any of them cover this piece? I know the replacement front bumper, specifically this piece is not expensive but I’d just as soon throw a protective piece on rather than pull off and replace the front fascia considering the amount of debris that falls out of trucks on their way to Mexico with junk I am dodging on a daily basis.

I do not like the look of the color matched front lips, and would prefer black.

Mugen front lip is your only option

There aren't any front lips available at the moment that cover the area where the damage is. The Adro and CMST V2 front lip come the closest to covering the damaged area but it's too far off to the corner of the bumper.

Correction the Mugen front lip does cover that area, so you can go with that

At that price I’d just get the front clip. The exact piece is like $500 to replace. Just a pain to unclip everything.

Even cheaper solution would be to get a roll of gloss black PPF to protect that leading edge. It’s always getting extra dust, debris and bug splatter. They sell a 2” wide roll on Amazon as cheap as $20. You’d have to fill and smooth that hit for a clean reflection though.
