Hey guys, getting around to installing my brand new exhaust on my FL5. It came with the front pipe, but unfortunately the front pipe has a pretty major dent by the exhaust hanger.

It looks like a manufacturing defect. I didn't drop it, the package arrived undamaged, and there is no scratching or marring on the metal.

My questions are:

Is this normal? It seems weirdly uniform like it's for fitment.

Are there going to be any impacts to performance? (goals for FBO + tune is 380ish)

Would you guys run this or wait for the manufacturer to respond? Guessing I won't hear back until Tuesday and I need the car up before then.

Pretty disappointed after paying well over $2000 for this. Manufacturer will remain unnamed until this is resolved.

Do not run it as is, contact the manufacturer and have a replacement sent.

It wont affect performance at all and you will never see it but im guessing it will bother you forever knowing its there and you will think your car is slower because of it so have them send a replacement.

It probably won't affect performance. That is a big dent though, I wouldn't accept it, especially with how much money you paid. Looks like it got damaged in shipping. If the manufacturer won't replace it, you can file a claim with the shipper.
