Has anyone ever used this antifreeze for a Civic Type R FL5? I just can’t get Type 2 coolant, and the official Honda dealer in my country doesn’t have it.

I’m planning to change the coolant for summer as it gets hotter, but I’m unsure whether it’s safe to go with Valvoline OEM Advanced 48 or Liqui Moly Kühlerfrostschutz KFS 11. I’ve never used either of these coolants before.

If anyone has used them without any problems, please let me know. Thanks!

Neither of those are silicate-free P-HOAT. Do you have access to Liqui-Moly KFS 12+? That one is better suited for Asian vehicles.

I have not personally, but it meets the factory specs for coolant.

One more to try: Pentosin Pentofrost A3, if that is available -- it meets the specs and is the correct color.
