How much of the front rotor screw do I need to drill out?

Just looking at your brakes makes we wonder where they've been,
Why are they so rusty? Are your roads heavily salted?
I live in NH, USA, which uses a lot of salt. Even so, mine don't look like that.

Rest assured the rest of the car is flawless. After buying the car I had it taken to an enthusiast rustproofing shop. They disassembled all the body panels under the car, dry ice blasted everything, then coated everything with a body wax.
The wax has been tested to ASTM salt spray tests too.
