Pretty much title,

Looking for a car to get back on the track probably 30% of its time. I'm eyeing a BLACK one and wonder what subtle ''changes'' happened from 2023 run to 2026 in terms of bugs/fixes/quirks/reliability.

What are your worst critiques of this car ? For me it will be used as more of a fun car that roadtrips+canyons occassionnally with probably at least 12 track days a year. Planning on keeping it for the very long term and pass it to my kids.

To be honest debating between this and brand new ND3 miata.

There are no changes from MY23 to MY26. It's the same car just with a different MY designation. As for the critiques, watch the YouTube review videos and you'll hear the same items like exhaust/engine doesn’t sound great, thin paint, interior rattles, small fuel tank (12.4 gallons), road noise, stiff suspension in +R Drive Mode, and terrible image resolution on back up camera. That's about it. Happy hunting!

I have a 2025...no rattles. Too young to see reliability issues but after a year and a bit feels like brand new after using it for "canyon runs" and everything else. It is a Honda - taking care of it....it takes care of you is my philosophy. So have done short OCI's.

There are serious track rats on the forum...read their threads.
Defer to them. Find the car equal to a gt3 for fun on the street. Really do. Different, but no less organic. Miata is great too...less useful off track....but a convertible is a convertible!
