Honda Is Considering Bringing HRC Versions of Performance Cars to Production

"In a conversation with Automotive News, Honda vice-president Hideo Kawasaka suggests that the brand is considering a "near-future rollout" for production versions of its HRC models. This includes all three performance models currently seen, called the "Sport" line, plus a series of off-road-ready crossover concepts revealed as the "Trail" line. This could be a global launch, the report says, including North American variants of at least "some" models."

How close can near-future really be if they haven’t made a decision yet?

I am hoping they make the rear end a bit more sporty / pleasing, change the interior to black or gray with red accents, integrate the display into the dash and make the car an AWD ... and reduce the price by $10,000

By the time they make a decision on this, the car will be out of production lol. They should've figured this out within a year of the FL5 launch.
