Import Tariffs

I contacted Blackhawkjapan an they said they have this new thing where they can invoice you for the tariffs after you paid for your order it’s called DDP so I’m going to order what I wanted and see how it works

I just ordered from BHJ some parts from my s2000 and got the fee a few days before the package arrived. It was not that bad, I thought tariff was going to be a lot worst. Still a lot cheaper than buying from a US shop

First time ordering from RHDJapan, I have an expected delivery tomorrow with DHL. I haven't received any notification from DHL that i owe tariffs yet. Does anyone have any experience with them regarding paying the tariffs? I'd like to pay them early/upfront if possible incase I'm not available to be at the door for delivery tomorrow.

I would keep an eye on your email and check your junk email folder just in case. Tracking the package should show its current state and if its waiting on payment as well. I received my notification from DHL to pay the customs fees the day before the scheduled delivery for my RHDJapan order.

In my experience, DHL tendds to be very good about updating users on tarriff charges. The deliveries I got through them required payment before delivery or at least I was informed with reasonable time before delivery. Fedex on the otherhand has contacted months after a delivery to cover a tarriff charge.

Thank you both @Chilly613 & @AspecR ! I usually go through BHJ and they use UPS, so I'm familiar with their timelines. DHL is unchartered territory for me...
