will there be a short ram version with heat shield? I like the design and I see it makes power but I do worry about hydrolocking? Also what about intercooler and intercooler pipes upgrades?

There are definitely plans to make a short ram version along with an intercooler and intercooler pipes.

Hydrolocking is a legitimate concern with true cold air intakes but we do have our line of hydroshields that can provide some help. You can learn more about them here... Injen Hydroshields

Keep in mind, our hydroshield's are not the end all answer to hydrolocking, but they will add another layer of protection to deter it.
