Under the glovebox there is a cover I think for the airbag. It rattles when I tap against it. On the right side of that panel there is a white clip holding the panel tightly in place. On the left side no white clip and the panel moves.

Can anyone take a look at that panel and let me know if they have one or two white clips holding that panel in place under the glove box?
Yup. Mine is like that too. I ended up stuffing some black yoga mat foam back under there in a couple of spots.

Today I pulled down the panel on the left side beneath the glovebox. There's two clips holding it up. It is tapping vibrating against a big white piece of plastic. I put some sound deadening material inside the panel where it vibrates against the white plastic box. This did the trick. No rattle even in R mode.

I couldn’t tell how that piece is held in place and am paranoid to start pulling on panels (and potentially breaking something). Nice job!

I love this car so much that I just had to find that rattle so I can fully enjoy driving this gem. LOL!

Now I can finally move onto the A pillar rattles...
Did you ever resolve this A pillar rattle? Mine is non stop at the bottom of both A pillars. Pushing anywhere nearby the Bose speaker or below it stops the rattle for about 10 seconds before it comes back.

Yeah, it's resolved. I Tesa taped the hell out of the bottom section so its press fit rather than loose fit. I also went overboard with foam tape along the whole edge. But since then i've been dealing with rattle under the steering wheel and center dash. It seems like when one source of vibration is dealt with it travels to another place. I've just about pulled apart most of panels at this point and i'm done playing this game lol.

You able to figure out the one under the steering wheel? I'm getting a rattle from that area only on certain road surfaces.

It only happens on rough roads so it's very hard to pin point exactly where the rattle is coming from. I'm thinking something inside the steering wheel cover is loose. It hasn't bothered me much to open it up and investigate...

I'm scared to take these off since there's airbags under there. Are they simple to take on/off? Also, where did you get the Tesa tape? I saw the tesa® 60606 PV1 product on their site but can't find it anywhere online.

The single-use clip was a bit tricky to get it off, but other than that it wasn't too bad. I had harder time trying to put it back on correctly then taking it off since it was a tight fit with the tesa tape applied. "HomeLink Mirror Install for 2024 Acura Integra " youtube video shows how to do it. I got the Tesa tape from Amazon.

Hi guys

Anyone pick up a rattle on the Honda Sense unit (camera) behind the the rear view mirror? If I tap on the cover it has some play, and there is definitely the slightest of gaps in between the windscreen and the plastic housing. I heard about silcone spray or like WD40 specialist dry lubricant, but I'm concerned that this might interfere with the honda sense unit. The rattle is worse on bumpy roads (of which we have a lot where I am located) but if i fiddle with the plastic cover it goes away for a bit, my other fix is loud music

My other rattles is on the vent on the dashboard between the A-pillar and the steering wheel. This one gets louder when I am more urgent on the acceleration.

Thanks.

For me the 2 clips is causing the rattles, I tried taping them to no avail.

My current band aid fix to this is to remove the clips and just use double sided tape to put it back on.

Or just stuff napkins between the cover and window till the play in the clip is removed.

Thanks. I was thinking of lodging a thin piece of clear double side tape between the cover and the window. Will give it a try

Sill question but where about are the clips?

At 15,000 miles the head unit rattle is absurd. I keep having to hold the head unit while I drive to avoid driving myself crazy. I have such a terrible track record with luck at dealerships. Debating trying the foam tape fix myself..
