Do it the fix is pretty simple. This solved it for me.
I don't think this is it. I did the first step when I first got the car and that screw in the 3rd step was tight on mine. When I put pressure on the infotainment the rattle stops

Yeah the screen housing is very creaky. You’d have to remove it from the car (which I’ve seen a video of somewhere) then mess with adding damping materials inside.

My car developed a really annoying buzzing on the front passenger side after exhaust + RMM install. I originally couldn't determine if it was coming from the door or B Pillar and it has been getting stronger over time. Sometimes it would happen on the driver side front as well, but rarely.

It was the seatbelt retractors down by the floor, underneath the B pillar trim. Seems like a common issue in 11th gen Civics in general. Here is what I did:
  • Removed lower B pillar trim
  • Unbolted the 10mm bolt that attaches the mounting bracket for the retractor to the chassis
  • Put some sound deadening material behind between the chassis and the bracket
  • Reattached retractor bracket to chassis with 10mm bolt.
  • Put some sound deadening on the white plastic housing that is attached to the retractor.
  • Put trim back together
Probably took 10 minutes total and the buzzing is now completely gone. I only have one more consistently occurring rattle now in the center dash or up by the map light, it is hard to tell. I have already put foam tape and sound deadening material in both these locations but I must have missed something.

Finally figured out the rattle “clink” sound (when hitting a bump) occasionally coming from the trunk area after like 18 months of ownership. I did EVERYTHING I could think of to locate and eliminate the issue…except 1 fairly obvious thing! The “clink” was coming from the trunk latch! There wasn’t enough tension in the latch, so basically my trunk door was bouncing just a little bit and the latch would “clink” like two chain links being snapped tight against each other. I couldn’t replicate it except when driving, so I had ruled out that it was an issue with my trunk and thought it was probably a loose heat shield under the car. I was very wrong. To fix it, all I had to do was move these rubber bump stops down (located on both sides of the trunk door).

NICE! I will give this a shot later today.
I had the same issue and couldn't figure out how to stop it.

I settled on wrapping the latch with some electrical tape to provide more tension. Worked great, but after about 1.5 months, the tape it gets all cut up and requires replacement,

This is the single most annoying car I've ever owned when it comes to NVH, specifically N & V. Since day one, I've been battling noises, rattles and clunks. Maybe one day I will actually be 100% happy with this car, but I kind of doubt it.

The interior rattle, which I assumed was in the center speaker/navi area, was the plastic surrounding the mirror's base. As another member stated, pushing up resolved my rattle.
