Not entirely sure where to post this but here seems right.

I have a 2022 Honda Civic SI. I have installed a PRL Cobra Cold Air Intake, PRL Intercooler and 27Won Catted Downpipe. I recently received my Ktuner and immediately started flashing different tunes haha. I started with 21 dual target and made some corrections to it multiple times but have finally settled on TSP Stage 1 tune (for now).

My question is what is Knock Control (k.cont) how does it work and how do I use it to modify timing? I keep seeing contradicting information. My K.cont usually starts around 0.5 and moves up towards 0.6-0.7 after a few knock events. Does higher K.cont mean my ECU is pulling timing orrrrr.......?

Thanks in advance

When I had a Phearable tune with my Sport Touring 1.5T this is the information they gave me regarding fuel and K.Con, hopefully its helpful.

That actually does help a bit. To me it says if you see knock your k.cont increases. Which means that the ECU retards timing in the event of knock. Is that right? It also says use better fuel or mix in some E85 to help reduce knock.
