I'm really glad I decided to go for the Type R. Back when I was a kid I remember playing NFS Underground 2, and loving just ripping around in the civic even when I unlocked better rides. And then watching all the early YouTube Integra stuff in the early 2000's... When it came to getting my first car I already knew it was going to be Honda of some kind. Then I saw the Integra Type R and I had to have an Integra. Long story short I spent a lot of time around V8 guys and drag racers in Indiana and 10 years later I've got a 650whp highway monster lol. Eventually had kids had to stop playing with fire, sold all the turbo bits off the Integra and the eventual goal is to get it on a track N/a And really learn how to drive it. If there is interest I can list out everything done to it.

All this time I've been daily driving an FA5. Its been a truly great car. I bought it with 95k miles in 2015 and its rolling about 320k now. The headliner is falling out, the clearcoat is eroding off of it and there is definitely some looseness in the suspension, but powertrain wise its a beast. 32-34 mpg all day to work and long weekend trips to drill (ANG). I'm going to keep driving it in the winter, get some good snows and just tear it up lol. But I love it still.

Anyways, I'm super grateful to own a car like this, its always been a dream!

My short term plan right now is Tint, PPF, ceramic coat, already got rear seat covers and floor mats for the kids (4 and 8) and drop in filter to get a little more noise out of it.

320k miles. That’s awesome!
You’ll just want to drive to nowhere at any moment with the FL5. I’ve turned quite a few 15 minute trips into 45 minutes just to keep driving
