Driving today doing a little pull on an on ramp Dashboard lights up like a Christmas Tree - Emission Problem reduced speed and rpm - See dealer, Rev Match disabled, brake system light and check engine light came on. WTF?! I think to myself. Make it home turned it off, back on the brake system warning went away, read the codes and I get P0087 Fuel Rail Pressure Low. Did a quick search there’s no recall on my VIN but I noticed there was a fuel pump recall a while back?

After cycling the power went for a quick drive and it drives and revs fine. CEL and warning still on.

I’ve had the car from new, 2 miles and after the break in. At WOT at around 5000rpm be it 5100-5200 there’s been a brief but noticeable hesitation under heave acceleration, like ans if you let off the accelerator half way real quick and back on, Initially I thought it was just the power band curve but maybe not?

anyone with any insight? Obviously well within warranty. Do I reset the CEL and see if it comes back or take it in and have it investigated?

Car is stock.

Take it in to the dealership. From what I've read online the High Pressure Fuel Pump is still a problem on these, carrying over from the FK8. I think a few guys have gotten local dealers to change the pump and their issues disappeared. If anyone else has any ideas they can chime in, but thats my two pennies (cents) worth.
