Hey guys, super excited to share that the exhaust which we've had a role in developing and testing out over the last year is finally ready! We received 10 units as a pre-release bonus for being part of the team with MBRP on this project!

https://unity-performance.com/.../mbrp-valved-exhaust-23...

Key features:
- 3" Front Pipe
- 3" Piping all the way back
- Triple 4.5" mild-slant cut tips, available in two styles (Burnt, SS w/CF surrounds)
- Two Mid Pipe Sections included: Straight Pipe & Resonated
- Dual Mufflers behind either side tips
- Center Tip is straight through with factory valve control integration

Key highlights:
- Designed and tested to mitigate Drone with both factory and aftermarket Downpipes. I was insistent on this during the R&D process as many Aftermarket Exhausts become unbearably drony with an aftermarket DP
- Various Tip Styles, and adjustable length to have them display further in/further out based on user liking. Optional: users can contact MBRP/Unity for other color and/or size tips
- Included in one price are two mid sections, straight pipe & resonated, allowing users to further adjust volume to their liking.
- Keep the pricing under $2K USD / $3K CAD for a Valved Exhaust

We have had the prototype on our shop FL5 since last summer, and we've done several rounds of adjustments and had other mods installed on the car to see how the system adapts. Everything from stock to downpipe to drop-in turbo, and each time the system would get a little louder but never drone! From 4-hour road trips to quick sprints, it's a system that has a dual personality and can be as chill as you wish and quite ruckus in +R with valves open!

Is the exhaust value always open in +R mode? Or does it depend on the throttle like the OEM exhaust system does?

Programming hasn't been modified, it will do exactly as the OEM settings

I have to say .......... that sounds pretty good. I like the included resonator and the fact that it is valved ........ ;-)
I'm very picky with exhausts, especially drone so retaining the valve, and an optional resonator included were key features I didn't want to compromise on. Even with the 27WON High Flow Catted DP we have it's a pleasant experience doing long drives :)

What about the DE5 folks? Anything Coming?
Yes, DE5 will be out shortly as well :)

Already have a test car with that on, and the factory backfire in Sport+ is amplified to gun shots essentially 😅

Looks pretty good. Everybody is doing clamps sadly😩
Clamps have held up well :)

We've done track days, hard launches, 6k miles of driving with this setup so far

Yeah the clamps will hold well just like other types of connection better.

Pretty expensive for an MBRP catback... had one years ago for a Mustang GT and was under $1k
