Mirror cap question (picture)

Does everyone’s mirror cap have this body line? It definitely protrudes. My pass side has it but not as noticeable if that makes since. Circled in photo. For context I replaced this mirror cap due to damage on mine from shipping and didn’t notice it before tossing the other.

Slight manufacturing variation is always going to happen, especially with molded plastic parts. It’s fine.
