MY 2024 Civic Type R FL5 Shipments from Japan

MY (Model Year) 2024 units have indeed arrived at the Port of Richmond, California on 11/6. Not sure how long they will sit at the shipping yard before releasing to dealers.

The next FL5 shipment for the U.S will be on the Aquarius Leader. 436 units. All MY 2024. No ETA yet but links for anyone who would like to track for the fun of it like I do:

*The vins are mostly sequential but some stragglers end up on the next shipment.
**Vessel stopping in Canada does not necessarily mean they are dropping off FL5s as there are other cargo onboard. I am unable to access Canadian data to confirm anything. I added this column anyway in case it helps since Canadians mentioned they have very low inventory and it's been hard to track.

The last batch that came through Richmond end of Oct were out of there pretty quick. They're starting to show up at mid-west/east cost dealers now. The holiday season does bog things down more though.

Slightly job-related but it was more of a discovery. I was researching for myself as I'm still on the hunt for one to purchase.

I linked the data sources, but account access is required to see further. Unfortunately I can't see Canadian data. I only see U.S bound units. If a vessel is bound for the U.S and happens to stop in Canada, I cannot see what they drop off / pick up in Canada. There may be other cargo on the vessel besides the FL5s.

Interesting. I grew up in Virginia Beach, and the car culture was pretty strong. I would have thought most of the 40-something GenXers I grew up with would be well off enough by now to buy the CTR they would have possibly literally killed for in the late 90s/early 2000s.
