Welp; small update. After having my rack replaced the steering has felt just…off. But it’s hard to pin down other than just “a feeling.”

that being said I took it to an independent Honda shop I trust and had them go over the suspension components at the front to make sure everything was tight and correct. Lo and behold they find some bolts pertaining the subframe aren’t torqued all the way. 🙄 The independent shop torqued everything that “they could get to” nice and tight and steering feels a bit tighter as a result, but I wonder what other bullshit they neglected to do correctly.

They provided me a photos of one such loose bolt that bolts the entire fucking subframe to the car, both sides were loose. I'm so sick of the anxiety of worrying about other people not doing their job correctly, especially when it’s MY car.

Don’t fret, already told their service manager I’ll be in there tomorrow morning. I expect to at least be reimbursed for the money I spent having another shop go over their sloppy execution.

Service manager took it surprisingly seriously. He agreed to reimburse me the money for having it looked at elsewhere and we have an apt to look at it with him and the shop foreman this week.

I’m honestly shocked he didn’t try and fuck me on this, will keep yall updated…
