I previously used R5 pads on the front and R3 pads on the rear. The front pads tended to be noisy when cold and not up to their operating temperature. I’d recommend using R3 pads on both the front and rear, depending on your needs. Titanium pad shims aren’t necessary. Honestly, if you’re only doing autocross twice a year, the stock brake pads should be sufficient unless the R3 pads are more affordable.

As far as autoX goes, stock brakes are no worries. I only don't like the dust, they do wear quite aggressively for factory hardware.

I like the SR11s too. Cheap, long lasting, not more dust than OEM, no bedding (this is huge), not very loud on the street.
im thinking about going with the SR11 for a dual track day/backroads street setup - which rear pad are you using?

Thanks , blues for the rear seem hard to find at the moment , do you guys think I’d be fine with stock rear pads with SR11 at least for the first 1-2 track days ?

I can't speak to longevity yet, but can't be worse than the blue from EBC. Got about 5-6k miles and 4 days on track from them lol.

yeah I have blues on order and they are set to arrive in april apparently.

I think stock pads are fine in the rear, I personally would run them and not think about it.

Or just get paragon p3s, or dixels or really any light track duty pad.
