Installed a few days ago. Not very hard, just one of the shifter base screws is hard to get but just remove a few screws in the console to get to it.

No need to remove the whole center console.

Nice! Any change in feel with the bushings? Thinking of base and cable bushings w new detent spring.

Base bushings are practically invisible. Cable end bushings are where you'll feel some improvement.

Slight more stiffness in shifts. The stock bushings have a rubber base, acuity's are metal.

Yes, I have them. Given the loads the base bushings see, if you can truly feel the aluminum bushings then you've got an incredibly sensitive butt dyno.
