Just finished this install and the rear is a PITA as everyone mentioned. I have the VIOFO hardwired and the cable is thick so couldn’t tuck it. My advice, just bite the bullet and dremmel as @50Cal_Actual said to do. It’ll save you the frustration and scratching up the panels.Running the wire for the rear dash cam was a huge pain, but it's doable. My cable runs up the grommet on the drivers side, across the back hatch, down the channel for the rear wiper that's on the passenger side, and out of that little rectangle piece in the center that Lui Rivera used. I used a dremel to just ever-so-slightly round out an opening so the cable sheathing wouldn't be cut, and I used an endoscope to see how the bends and obstructions in that channel were, which really helped me. Install time took about two hours doing it myself, and at least half of that was spent figuring out that rear camera installation.
I'm honestly shocked that a professional installation place said there's no way to do it cleanly. There is.... it's just a massive pain in the butt.
