They are great cars and are very quick. But same opinion, I enjoy the type R more.
Yes it was fast and I did like that x drive which was 80% rear and 20% front or more when needed. So you could still slide the rear end out but very controllable . I liked the little wiggle between gears and then it would hook up. But my Type R is my favorite car to date it really is a special car.

Agree with the assessment 100%. It is very special, I can’t really choose between the s2k and this one. Both to me seem like forever cars.

Yeah this is my current dilemma right now. I went in blind when I got my GT350 and got sucked into the hype. Ownership experience has been really frustrating for me and ever since I got my CTR its just been collecting dust. The first 2 years experience has been a night and day experience, the only time I ever opened up the hood on my CTR was because I just wanted to see the engine. I pop the hood regularly so many times on my GT350 that I lost count lol.

Kills me because I've always wanted to get a Shelby. Really considering just selling it and maybe getting a Supra, I just want something that can be pushed hard on the track and not fall apart.
I'm sorry your Shelby experience hasn't been good. I had an opposite experience. Mine was perfect with no oil consumption. It was a great daily and occasional track car. I traded my GT350 for my ctr. I miss the power but this is a better all around vehicle verses a balls to the walls extreme, wrong attention getting magnet.
