The R400 is king of drone, nothing beats it...not even Tomei.

That Remark, a lot of people sell it because it also drones. Maybe try Q Spec from Remark which is also a 3 tip. I've heard that it seems better in regards to drone.

FWIW, I've had R400 and a Remark 2 tip...Remark is much better. R400...I had it on maybe 3 days. Drone is really bad.

The only issue with this is finding a competent exhaust shop that does decent welds. All of the shops around me can't weld for sh!t. Why won't anyone make a resonator delete kit that's clamped on for the FL5 like this one for the Audi S3 => Volkswagen Golf VII R 2.0T Gen3 Exhaust Performance Midpipe - 020296ecs02KT - MK7 Golf R / 8V A3/S3 Resonator Delete Pipe Kit

My wife's S3 have this optional resonator delete kit from the factory and I would be very happy if I can get a similar noise out of the FL5! A kit similar to the VW/Audi would be fairly simple to manufacture, but I don't know why anyone in the Honda community/vendor won't make one for the FL5? MRT makes one for the 1st resonator, but nobody makes it for the 2nd resonator?
Yeah, Ive seen the front resonator delete, but I have not seen one yet for the larger mid resonator. Maybe MRT has one in the works?

I did see they have a rear muffler delete

It doesn't look like MRT will do one for the larger mid resonator. I've contacted them last year and they mentioned that it would drone if the larger mid resonator were to be removed. I've read/heard owners removing it without complaining about drone? Obviously, drone/noise tolerance is very subjective...so who knows?

I have no desire of cutting out the muffler as I somewhat learning to like the look of the tripple trumpets.

Thanks for sharing the links!

It’ll come down to price and personal preference for both options, as they do sound similar. Remark quality is a little better, but the $600 gap is steep. The Remark is definitely the more unique offering of the two, you won’t find too many around.

In terms of pricing, all dealers are given a higher MSRP, and lower MAP price. All dealers typically tend to set prices to MAP as that’s in line with what everyone else is doing.

If there’s additional discounts they will most likely appear in the Cart :)

If you guys found a deal for the Remark titanium model for $2150.00 USD shipped with this "damage" would you take the deal?

Picked up the Remark exhaust on Sunday, got it installed on Monday and ripped apart the dash to disable the fake exhaust sounds last night. I have to agree with what everyone's been saying, the quality and attention to detail on the exhaust it top-notch for sure. I think it sounds good, a huge improvement over stock and no drone for me unless I'm cruising in R+ mode at 80mph.

Thanks @MERAKIAUTOWORKS for helping get the deal done. Cool dude and even took the time to meet me for pickup at a time convenient for me. Next time the wife approves an upgrade for my FL5 or MA70 I'll definitely check your store first.
