Is the SI cargo area the same size as the FL5? I would love to buy this if there is no hump in the cargo area, wondering if anyone has tried this setup in a fl5 yet

thats unfortunate, I guess that's why Honda has yet to release a spare tire kit for the fl5. What are people doing for road trips? Just putting a spare trunk and dealing with the reduced cargo space? Or is the tire inflator kit that it comes with good enough? My cars have always come with a spare and ive never had to use the inflation thingLol I just looked at my FL5.. and I'm a dumb ass.
I looked before. There is absolutely zero way you get a spare without a hump.
I got thisFinally broke down and bought the spare !

I can’t say for sure with the 11th Gen Type R, but the spare tire kit raised the floorboard and never really sat flush in my 10th Gen Type R. Not to mention the Type R cargo tray was also a bit off.Is the Type-R's spare different than other 11th gen Civic's spare? From what I've heard, nothing is a 100% direct fit for the Type-R, it creates a little "hump".
Now you tell me !!!Just fyi, if you type in the part numbers in any of the HondaPartsNow or other sites, it's cheaper than buying straight from the dealer. Came out to $277 shipped to me in FL.
Yeah unfortunately I just got an order update and the spare tire [not the kit] is out of stock from Honda. Now you tell me !!!![]()
When I bought the spare for my FK8, it came with a new floor for the hatch to make room. It looks to be the same as the FK7 floor.I can’t say for sure with the 11th Gen Type R, but the spare tire kit raised the floorboard and never really sat flush in my 10th Gen Type R. Yes, my FK8 spare tire kit also had a raised floor. When I bought the spare for my FK8, it came with a new floor for the hatch to make room. It looks to be the same as the FK7 floor.
