Sold: California Spoon Shift Knob

Spoon Sports aluminum shift knob. This is the tall version for 10th & 11th generation Civics. I received it from Black Hawk Japan in November 2025. I used it for a month. This knob is too skinny for my preference. Includes a sock/cover for hot days. $60 picked up in Socal (Fullerton or Pomona) or $70 shipped via USPS.

What is your preferred knob? Do you have small pr large hands? Not being perverted. Promise.

The Skunk2 knob (modeled after 90's Type R knobs) is almost perfect for my hand size, but I wish it was 10mm taller. For the past few months I used a Circuit Hero knob, which fits my palm well. I recently bought a 140mm shift rod for my Hybrid Racing shifter (comes with 110mm). I still don't like the feel of the Spoon knob on the taller rod, so I decided to sell it.

I got the Spoon knob after seeing it in so many FL5s at local meets. When I got it, I found it too skinny and angular for my preference. The Battlecraft teardrop knob is another knob I see in many local FL5s and other tastefully modded Hondas. I'm curious to try it out.

I feel like Goldilocks trying to find the ideal setup

I just bought a hybrid shifter as well, and I am looking for the perfect combo. I agree that the Spoon does appear to be too angular from the photos. I wish you the best of luck on your quest.
