You don't have to get that exact design of the larger dead pedal that I'd linked. That was MY proposed design to have as much coverage over the red carpet underneath (based on how I tend to rest my foot) and SRP customized it for me. They will customize to whatever shape you want with no extra cost!
Just looks really big to me but I like the idea you had and I agree that part of the carpet gets dirty easily so a great idea.
The dead pedal that comes from SRP is already larger which is nice.

The dead pedal that comes from SRP is already larger which is nice.
SRP sent me a template of their standard size pedal and during my trial fit, it was barely larger than the OE - didn't have enough coverage for the way I tend to rest my foot. Since the side of the carpet was starting to get dirty already, I wanted something that will prevent that. No point for me to get something that wasn't also functional.

It looks BIG because it is really WIDE! Just wished the floor above the dead pedal wasn't slightly curved. Otherwise, it could have been made a bit taller (which is what I initially wanted) to get the proportion correct - it would have been difficult to have the "correct" bend to match the floor.
