Hey All,

So i just got my SUMA mirrors in and went to post on one of the fitment threats to get some clarification.. looks like those are all closed now. I wanted to ask if anyone else is having issues with the mirrors moving while driving at speeds above 30mph. I for the life of me cant see ANYTHING out of the mirrors clearly at night because of the movement.. just wondering if this was just me? Defeats the point of having them imo..

I have tried taking them off and on again and pushing them on harder - would love a fix or at least some input.

my guess is bottom ball isn't fully snapped in.

Did you tilt mirror fully down and pushed inward on the bottom portion until you heard/feel the ball snap in? The left and right ball snap in easier than the single bottom.

I have Suma mirrors and don't have this shake. take it out and double check you transfered all the necessary parts and all snapped into place.

Ive pulled them both back off and reassembled them completely.. i do think one of the white plastic parts may not have been FULLY clipped in.. like 1 of the 8 little clamping sides wasn't down all the way. Ill know when i drive it again.
Thanks for your input - much apprecaited!

both of my SUMA mirrors are rock solid even at over twice the speed limit or bumpy roads.

is the issue affecting both mirrors?

did you move over the brackets from OEM mirror to SUMA?

it was a slow and painstaking process to carefully remove the OEM brackets, release one tab, only to have it snap back in when attempting to release the next...

it took a bit of force and carefully lining up both actuators to get both mirrors to snap in.

so this time when i removed the mirrors the white plastic piece stayed on the housing.. for both of them.. twice.. i think the clips on the mirror housing there might not be tight enough or something.

SUMA said they are "actively looking into this" for me

this would be the part that i am talking about. these clips on the mirror assy do not hold the white piece onto the mirror itself

Those should actually hold the white bracket to the mirror very well if its pressed in all the way and in the correct orientation. If not, you can have issues like vibration in the mirror if its not installed correctly and the white bracket can come off completely when removing the mirror again.

Also make sure there isn't an issue with the middle retaining ball and the center ring on the white bracket.

Unity Performance has a good video for mirror removal and install.
