Is the temp sensor as easy to replace as disconnecting the battery, removing the hose that goes into the nose ("top", not sure what to call it) of the sensor, undoing the three bolts that hold the sensor in place, then replacing it with the replacement sensor w/ bolts @ 18 ft lbs/24Nm & re-clamping the hose?
Looks like the underside bolt would be the 'most difficult' part of this, if there is nothing else to the temp sensor.
I have a Spoon sensor but want to go back to the OE sensor in prep for a new PWR radiator/intercooler, which will be taken care of by a professional mechanic. Unfortunately the individual who replaced the OE sensor with the Spoon sensor caused a small coolant leak.
