It's expensive, but anything Ti is:

- Raw material cost probably near $200.
- Difficult to form, due to high strength and spring-back.
- Has to be welded in an inert gas environment.
- Needs a vacuum stress relief heat treatment to avoid cracking in weld heat affected areas. This would be done while mounted on an expensive fixture to keep things from warping. Vacuum furnaces are expensive too.

Regardless of price, it's a nice looking item.

I appreciate the technical background. So often, people just comment and poo-poo on how expensive things are without remotely understanding the skill and difficulty involved with making it. It’s called craftsmanship. If you appreciate craftsmanship, then the price is the price. It isn’t difficult to justify when you have this perspective.

I've gotten eaten alive for how much I've modded my civic, it's just a part of the territory, no matter what you do. People have an idea of what they think cars should be and they get real angry if people don't fit the mold. I used to live ricey things on my car and now I hate even simple stick ons.

How much of the people complaining that you spend 2k on a strut bar are the ones that are giving you money to put into your car? Is your car at the end of the day people buy 5k TE 37 that everyone and their mother has on this cars and no one cry about it even though is the same wheel the same spec as everyone else. The bar look nice you can afford it go for it every one mod their car their way like Kent say this is the same people clapping when they see yo in person. I bought the spoon oil cap and radiator cap out of nostalgia do I need it NO! But I buy it any way.

Because it’s really remained me on a time on my life when it’s wasn’t affordable or easy to get as it’s is now. Is like that scene of Fast and Furious that Hector is running three spoon engines that was a dream like when I hit the truth of buying an RHD car the difficulty that it was to get it into the states and the prices that are way higher than getting a new car. Yeah you post your car on the internet for opinions but isn’t necessary to have negative opinion into others because what is the point if we gone to be bashing each other.
