How do you turn off the Auto Headlight feature and keep it off on the FL5? It's annoying for the headlight to come on/off every single time that I pull into or leave my garage. Is there a way to permanently keep the Auto Headlight disabled? For the life of me, I can't find this anywhere in the manual. Any help would greatly be appreciated. Thanks.

Nope the auto headlights are automatic LOL.
I have a 23 Accord and same feature. Love it really. I see so many people drive around in the dark with no illumination, presumably because they forgot to turn them on.

edited my spelling

I hate to see those no headlight drivers too. But I don't drive at night all that often. All of my cars since 2004 that have automatic light always have a position to keep it off. I didn't even bat an eye on the CTR when I saw that there was an OFF position on the stalk until on my drive home after the purchase to realized that the OFF position was spring loaded! Almost thought I had a broken stalk since it wouldn't stay in the OFF position! This is a bummer since I hate to see a premature death of a relay or shorten LED life as I hate seeing it flicker on/off multiple times a day (leaving/coming home, underpasses, etc.) for no reasons :-(

I haven’t driven my CTR in the dark yet, but with my Accord you can only turn the lights off when it is in park. Once you move to drive, they come on. The stalk is also spring loaded as well.
On the Accord there is a setting which you can adjust for the amount of light required for the exterior lighting to come ON. Something like ‘light, medium, dark’ or similar sensitivity.
Wonder if our typeR’s are the same? Seems like I should check next time I am in the car LOL.

Thanks - I'll give that a try as well to see if I can minimize those ON/OFF cycles. Haven't been back to a Honda since 2004 and so many things have changed.
