So... you don't actually know? Taiwan OR China? Or you don't care?

To some of us, there is a big difference. Just sayin.

Thanks for your detailed thread and your quick, albeit, baffling, response.
China, I was referring to where most wheels are actually made.

Look at Ed Bolian—I think that’s how you spell his name. He has a Bugatti with Chinese forged wheels. He even did a pressure test and everything on them. Let me remind everyone: he went 218 MPH in a Bugatti with Chinese wheels, so why do people complain?

Also, I want someone to try and buy the wheel from Alibaba. Get a reputable supplier and get it in the U.S. for less than the $3k. The tariffs on aluminum from China are 50%, so if a set is worth $700, plus tariffs, shipping, duties, and all the other things, it will be damn close to those $3k—just that you buy it yourself and not from a business.

The majority of wheels will tell you they come from Germany or Japan, but do they really? When on Alibaba, of all places, you can find TE37s. So give me a break with the purity test.

The manufacturer that did the OEM for the carbon wheel the first time on the GT350R was an Australian manufacturer. So was it crap because it wasn’t a pure JDM brand or a German brand ? Y’all know the Type R drivetrain is assembled in Ohio, so it isn’t JDM as y’all claim. Can someone explain me because I don’t understand I’m Hispanic and slow.

I have had 5 Mustangs in my lifetime ........ 66, 72, 2016, 2017 Shelby GT-350, 2018 Shelby GT350R chassis JR-131. Trust me Bro, I know where they come from. You are correct about the manufacturer Of the R carbon fiber wheels. Ford contracted an Australian company to build them for all R's with the exception of a small modification in 2019 - 2020. I purchased a set of Signature wheels to use as my daily drivers only to switch back a few months later due to the carbon fiber superior feel and handling.
