How many people are signed up? I'm debating only because the dragon is hit or miss depending on the traffic. Cops are getting worse especially when they know a event is going on.
I'd definitely be down to venture out and hit the other roads though.

This weekend is usually early enough in the season that the morning is clear. Plus, it's cold enough out that there aren't many bikes out yet as well.

We've had 70-80 cars the past couple years broken up into various sized groups on Saturday. Friday and Sunday has people doing drives on other roads. I'll likely be heading down to SC and back via 28-64-107 on Friday with some side roads mixed in

I posted this in the FB group as well but how quickly do the cabins usually book up? I'm trying to get a group of us to go but some of them don't get their 2025 work schedules until November.

It would be my type r, a friend's type s, and possibly a party crasher lol.

East Bank here. I've got 3 of us signed up in 2 cars currently and a cabin. Never done the event before but I've driven the dragon and several surrounding roads. Some of the best experiences I've had behind the wheel.

Is 441 a route that's on the docket for the event? I need to make a sentimental stop at the ben morton overlook at some point. Last time I was here in 2022 I ran the smoky mountain loop adding in the skyway and made a photo stop at the overlook to inadvertently snap a photo of the name we eventually gave to our son carved into the stone up there. Didn't realize it until I reviewed the photos the next day.

Not usually on Saturday, but Friday and Sunday have drives that go all over the area. If you would like to lead one in that loop I'm sure there would be folks interested in joining you
