Installed my dashcam (Blackvue 900X Plus), removed dealer sticker, hardwired my Uniden R8.

I pulled the wheels off and cleaned them. The front lug nuts were torqued to around 140ftlb so imagine the dealer did this when they took out the shipping blocks.
140 ft lbs!!!??? Do the Honda technicians frequently service Chevy Silverados at that dealership or something?🤦‍♂️

I added the following interior lighting to the FL5:

1. JDM OEM LED Tailgate Light (08E17-T43-000) - this LED light is a net new light located just below the left tailgate grab handle. This part is a complete kit that consists of wiring harnesses, LED light with switch, zip ties, template to make the cut, bezzle/housing for the light, foam inserts to prevent rattles, and other miscellaneous components. A+ quality kit with literally everything you need to install the light. I expect nothing less from Honda. What's interesting is when you remove the panel and flip it over, it's already premarked for where this light should go (see picture). In total, this takes 2-3 hours to complete properly if working at a leisurely pace.

@Clark_Kent

I managed to get hold of the (Japanese) instructions for the tailgate LED from JDM Yamato:

The instructions are somewhat scary in the sense you seem to have to remove a lot of trim pieces o_O

I get it you gotta remove the inside trim of the hatch, the bottom boot, and the inside rear of the boot, and the right inside.

But why remove parts such as the B-pillar, trim bellow the rear seats and grabhandle? 🙄
Did you too remove those parts? or can you actually skips a few steps from the manual?

screenshots of the manual from steps I dont get why they have to be removed:

And is is necessary to remove the right C-pillar where the speaker is located as shown here?

because you seem to need to remove it to get the new A-harness thru, but again, can it be done without remove all these trim pieces I wonder?
Did you do it?

And last thing that was not clear to me.
One car connection all of a sudden appeared out of nowhere it seems:

you have to connect that connection to the second B-harness.
But in all the steps, it didnt show where this car connection came from, this was just dangling around on the right side of the boot than?

I guess I wanted to know if you followed every step of the instructions because some seem unnecessary....but than again, you already did it, and I have yet to receive my Civic 🤗

Thanks a lot!

Yeah I just stopped at 140lb. They definitely used that air gun and zipped then on. The rears were no where near that.

Added front and rear EVS towhooks. The front one wasn't so bad after carefully reading the instructions and watching GridZilla's video on how NOT to install it lol. The rear one I had to make a decently sized hole to keep the panel on. I ordered a separate panel in case I want to remove the tow hook.
