What did you do to your FL5 today?

Milltek exhaust, at least with the non resonated version, has pops/crackles in gears 1-3 depending on RPM and it sounds great.

It sounds nicer than the CTR lol

Type S exhaust has me stressed and heard UFOCTR resonator delete video so I chopped off the center resonator left the front resonator and mufflers, little to no drone and burbles a bit changing gears and reversing. Also used 3inch pipe to replace the resonator.

What's the OEM diameter of the exhaust pipe on either side of that large resonator? I saw someone else say they used a 2.5" pipe to replace that resonator.

I think it’s 2 and 1/8 I used 17 inches of 3 inch diameter pipe to replace the resonator

I think it’s 2 and 1/8 I used 17 inches of 3 inch diameter pipe to replace the resonator

LHT posted a video recently and mentioned the diameter being 2.5". Calipers weren't used but the measurement shown on camera appeared to be right at 2.5".

Parked it and took my C7 GrandSport manual to work today. It reaffirmed my following feelings of the CTR:
- the seats are brilliant
- the shifter is brilliant
- clutch takeup is smoooottthhh
- steering is direct and precise
- it’s so much more fun than the Vette under 100mph
