I don’t go down that way to often, but if and when I do I’ll definitely let you know. Planning on going to the track in Englishtown at some point soon.

I've watched a couple of your videos on YouTube. Thanks for sharing your experience and journey. Which brand tint do you go with and VLT? Also, did you tint the windshield?
You are very welcome. Thank you very much for watching. They had three levels of tint I picked the middle one. I did not tint the windshield, I did a brow though.
What Is vlt?

Thanks

It looks very clean! I too agree that tints are a very practical addition to the FL5 or any vehicle for that matter. Keeping the interior cooler (even more so when paired with visors to promote some airflow while the windows are cracked) and also a means of privacy for any personal belongings. I opted for a ceramic tint at a local shop with 5% all around and 35% on the windshield. The cops over here don't bother me about it all, thankfully.

Thank you for the kind words. I would have gone Darker, but the cops around here are Known to harass. How are you liking the ceramic tint?

Visibile Light Transmission. It's the percentage of light that passes through the glass. 5%, 20%, 35%, etc. The higher the number, the clearer or lighter the film.

I went with 35% all around !!
I had 20% on my black 2018 Type r and the back window was almost to dark.

Got the AFD lip yesterday, just ceramic coated it - not sure when I'll get to put it on. Still considering a more expensive option in CF but my budget is pretty crushed right now.

This whole dumping money into a car may be old hat for many of you but I keep a folder of everything I've done to this car and it is adding up quickly and I don't even feel like I've done a lot!

The trick is to not add it up. ;)

Got my Sprint Filter and trunk tray delivered and installed. I also did the active valve fuse pull to keep the valve open. Still awaiting so many other things for protecting the interior and exterior.

Got shipping confirmation on the rear a/c setup! My kid is going to be a lot happier in a few weeks.

"Installed" a Weathertech windshield shade, curious to see how effective it is at keeping the interior cool - I honestly got it more to keep the sun from fading the front seats though.

Also wondering if removing the front bumper to install the lip makes sense.

I've been eyeing the rear A/C add-on. Is this the one that you ordered? I see they added one for the FL5. Let us know how the install goes and how well it cools down the rear.
