New owner here! My question may have been posted somewhere but couldn’t be found. Along with a few upgrades for the FL5, I purchased the H&R 15mm and 20mm wheel spacers. After the installation, my mpg was decreased by 3 miles and the rear tire wear pattern shifted inward. I assume others who run similar setups get an alignment. Does this fix the tire wear but does it also correct the mpg?

Any thoughts or could someone share their experience with their spacers? Thank you.

Hi, @in2zion , and welcome to CivicXI.com !

Those are two excellent questions.
I, too, am interested in the answers.
I have also recently added H&R 15mm spacers to all 4 corners of my car.
That is on top of RokBlokz Rally Mud Flaps and new 275/35ZR19 tires that increases my overall ground clearance.
Edit: check out my threads for reference on my thought process for my mods.

My MPGs are probably completely Effed.

I just got back to San Antonio yesterday, June 30th, from over 600 miles of driving to and from Dallas on the new wheels, tires, and spacers.
The car tells me I averaged about 25 MPG for the last 300 miles of the trip.
However, I have not yet had my speedometer flashed to correct the decreased perceived MPH due to the new large diameter tires, so, there's that.
I would like to learn how to properly measure tire wear and the effects of spacer (added weight and potential drag) plus Mud Flaps (definitely added drag) on overall fuel economy performance of a car.

I think that what we are supposed to do is go to the definitive thread on this topic, which I believe is this one, started by Clark_Kent :

Imma go over there and post my specs.

Cheers.
