I had Firestone, Tires Plus, & NTB say they couldn’t do the alignment because it’s lowered.
NTB actually said the VIN# wouldn’t come up, but I don’t believe that.
Anybody run into similar scenario?

Is the car lowered?

If the shop does not have an In-Ground alignment rack and you are lowered on something like Swift theres a chance it could be too low and drag the front bumper driving up it.

My car is lowered on eibach pro kit and does fit on an alignment rack like this. Also my shop has some 2x8's that they can lay down in front of the ramps so you can have even more clearance. Lastly, my local shop doesn't have the Integra Type S in their computer either. Which reminds me I need to print out someone's specs and bring them with me.

They usually just put the regular integra in the computer, then align to whatever I want.

Thats a Hunter rack which is arguably one of the best and what a lot of good shops use, as mentioned by StingertimeNC they just need some wood for lowered cars, hell they should have this but if not offer to bring some, you don't need much. I just got an alignment done on that same rack 5 days ago and not lowered and they had wood down already but there was gobs of space. Then bring your own numbers for them to adjust.

I have a feeling they didn't want to do your alignment for some reason

I have the Not Lowered Car Friendly rack pictured above. With a few boards it works great on anything except stanced cars. Your profile pic looks like it's pretty low but could be the angle. I'm with Moomoo in that they sound like they just don't want to do it. I wouldn't force it if that's the case. They likely won't take pride in their work. You're better off finding someone that wants to do the job and take it to them.

Yes. Couldn't get alignment at Honda dealership. Said car wouldn't fit on the equipment. Imagine selling a car you can't service. Have to go to specialty car shop
