Well Carmax is offering me 28,600 for my 20 rally red si sedan with 4900 miles on it so guess that’s why they are marking them at 32k.

Not shocking we're seeing these huge mark ups. The new and used car market is a mess because of the chip shortages. Until the chip shortage is gotten under control, it's not a great time to be buying a car (great time to sell however).

100% standard fee, it depends on where you are located however but for the upper east coast its normal. It's the approximate cost of shipping and lot prep. It's accounted for as a separate line item because it can be used as tax deductions and other shenanigans for corporate customers.

Think it depends on the state too. I’m in Indiana and asked one of the salesmen directly if I’d have to pay a destination fee and he said no, and this was on a new 2021 Civic Sport

Cars built at the Alliston ON plant and sold 50 miles away in Toronto have a $17xx + tax freight and PDI added... Rip off
