Willow Springs - Big Willow (1st time tracking Type R FL5)

I had an incredible experience at the track this past weekend with the Type R. I was pleasantly surprised by its performance, as it managed to keep pace with high-end cars like the BMW M's, BMW Z4, Porsche, and Corvettes. This marked my first time tracking the car on this specific circuit.
The Type R proved itself on the track, showcasing its agility and ease of control. Its lighter weight allowed for quicker turns and later braking compared to many other cars. Despite the favorable performance, I observed the oil temperature reaching 245°F during the session on 65°Fweather, which makes me skeptical about its endurance on hotter days, especially around 100°F. I was conscious of the known overheating issues and closely monitored the temperature.
I believe the Type R could benefit from cooling modifications, lighter wheels, and grippier tires. I have videos for each of the four separate sessions. Overall, the Type R's performance left me thoroughly impressed, and I'm considering these potential upgrades to further enhance its capabilities on the track.

Any recommendations on the mods?

Outstanding, thanks for sharing! Your video is super clear too so its nice to see how temps behave on track. Did you have any mods at all? Did you remove the rain deflector under the hood?

First mod you must do: Go into your LogR menu and change that white Type R to your car's blue!
